OutBack Power’s true sinewave off-grid-solar inverter/charger is a complete power solution. It incorporates a DC to AC sinewave inverter, battery charger and an AC transfer switch housed within a die-cast aluminum chassis. Intelligent multistage battery charging runs your generator less, and prolongs the life of your batteries.
The VFX series uses a vented chassis with “bug proof” screened openings that allow high output AC power in the hottest of operating conditions.

Inverters
The most common residential inverter is the ideal size for an average-sized family home. This family of single-phase string inverter complements the typical number of rooftop solar panels, allowing home-owners to get the most effi cient energy harvesting for the size of the property. This rugged outdoor inverter has been designed as a completely sealed unit to withstand the harshest environmental conditions.
One of the key benefi ts of the Uno family of inverters is the dual input section to process two strings with independent MPPT especially useful for rooftop installations with two different orientations (ie East and West). The high speed MPPT offers real-time power tracking and improved energy harvesting.
The transformerless operation gives the highest effi ciency of up to 97.0%. The wide input voltage range makes the inverter suitable to low power installations with reduced string size.

Xantrex
The Xantrex™ XW Solar Charge Controller is a photovoltaic (PV) charge controller that tracks the electrical maximum power point of a PV array to deliver the maximum available current for charging batteries. When charging, the XW Solar Charge Controller regulates battery voltage and output current based on the amount of energy available from the PV array and state-of-charge of the battery.
The XW Solar Charge Controller can be used with 12, 24, 36, 48, and 60-volt DC battery systems and is able to charge a lower nominal-voltage battery from a higher nominal-voltage array. For example, the XW Solar Charge Controller can charge a 12-volt battery from a 36-volt array. This provides flexibility for installers to use longer wiring runs without compromising efficiency. The XW Solar Charge Controller can be installed in single or multi-unit configurations with a Xantrex XW Hybrid Inverter/Charger or can be used in other off grid solar systems where a solar charge controller is needed.
